The #UnitedStatesPatentandTrademarkOffice (#USPTO) was ostensibly created to protect the little-guy #inventor and his #IntellectualProperty (#IP) for twenty years... but apparently the system may frequently leak ideas to potential copycats... and/or refuse to allow/grant a #patent until one or more claims is admended to include a limitation which makes it easy for a #copycat to #workaround the #patents, rendering a patent to be of low value. Having a #LowValuePatent is not the only potential cost to the little-guy inventor.
