@a @Millwood16 Having a real-time conversation with Gab Social (or any Mastodon server). 1. Pick a conversation hash tag, e.g. #cute_puppy_pictures 2. Copy the hash tag to your computer's clipboard. 3. Create an initial post containing the hash tag. 4. Click on the hash tag, to bring up a search page for it, https://gab.com/tags/cute_puppy_pictures . This is where others who want to join will begin. 5. To reply to a new post, click the reply arrows button. 6. Type control-A (cmd-A on Macs) to select the auto-inserted @name of the person to whom you are replying. 7. Type control-V (cmd-V on Macs) to paste the #cute_puppy_pictures hashtag. 8. Write a new message for the thread. 9. Click the "Publish" button. Your new message will appear (immediately) at the top of the page for everybody listening in via https://gab.com/tags/cute_puppy_pictures The thread is public. Everybody will see all the messages, and anybody can join just by mentioning the hash tag.
