Coincidentally... Churches that close for lockdowns are state churches. Churches that require masks for worship are state churches. Churches that require vaccines for worship are state churches. Churches that let the state determine their theology and practice of worship are state churches. "But Bnonn, that's so harsh. These churches believe this is the best way to serve God and love their neighbors." Maybe they do. But that's the problem. God's law is not open to revision. And its language is far harsher than mine for those who honor God with their lips while their heart is far from him, worshipping in vain because they teach as doctrine the commandments of men. God calls them whores. He calls them synagogues of Satan. He calls them children of hell. "But Lord, that's so harsh!" Yeah, now we're getting somewhere.
