**My Bible Verse of The Day - 7-1-26** Matthew 18:12 (LSB) 12 “What do you think? If any man has one hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying? Our journey as a believer can be wonderful, joyful, amazing, confusing, baffling, and frustrating. Sometimes these feelings can all happen at the same time. Other times, people walk through seasons that seem to be dominated by one emotion while the other emotions are conspicuously absent. And sometimes people can become so disillusioned by their emotions that they give up and walk away, deciding that “this Christianity thing isn’t for me”. And they try to “escape” what they have found to be so confusing. If that is you, this message is something you need to hear. Or maybe you have done something that you’re ashamed of. You have “dropped the ball”, so to speak. You feel like you have crossed a line that has forever separated you from God, and there is no way back for you. If that is you, this message is something you need to hear. God will never abandon you. He will never leave you. And He will never forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 (LSB) 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or be in dread of them, for Yahweh your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” The only one who can separate us from God is us. But if our heart sincerely longs for Him, or we earnestly desire to be near Him, and not far away, He will seek us out. His word says He will “leave the ninety-nine” and pursue us, desiring to bring us back into the fold, celebrating when we return. These are not just empty words. They are God’s words. They are a promise directly from Him. So, if you have run away from God, or if you have done something that you think you cannot be forgiven for, think again. He is not only waiting for you to approach Him but actively pursuing you. All you need to do is acknowledge Him, repent, and return to His open arms, where you will be welcomed with joy ❤ Pastor Curt & Pastor Ellie Seven Seas Ministries 49 N Lamplighters Walk Hampstead, NC 28443 401-439-3780 If you know someone who will enjoy this or be encouraged by it, please feel free to share it with them! #DailyDevotional #BibleVerseofTheDay #BibleDevotional #DailyBibleVerse #Jesus #GodsWord #LoveGod #GodFirst
