**My Bible Verse of The Day - 7-22-26** Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. As I was out for a bike ride recently, a phrase came to me that I knew was the Holy Spirit speaking. “I don’t understand, but I trust.” It’s a phrase or sentiment that we must learn to live by as we learn to walk by faith, instead of what we see or perceive. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (LSB) 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight— Walking by faith isn’t easy, especially when we are a baby in Christ. It comes with time, maturity, and understanding. But it is something that requires us to allow God to transform our thinking, training our minds to look past human logic. This can be hard to grasp initially. After all, we are taught in the natural world to live by logic and human intellect. But as a child of God, our intellect is no longer our guide. We now have the Holy Spirit as our Helper, sent to lead us into all truth. And it is because of this that we can walk through the most difficult times of our lives without always understanding why God shows us to do certain things. Our responsibility isn’t to always understand. It is to trust Him as He leads and guides us. No, this isn’t always easy. And sometimes it can be downright scary to our minds. But it’s what we are commanded in God’s word to do.
