Happy Diwali! 🪔 Tuhanu ate tuhade parivaar nu Diwali dian Mubarkan! 🪔 🥳🙌🏻 🎊 🎉 🪔 🪔 🪔 Bandi Chhor Divas di lakh lakh vadhaiyan! We celebrate the liberation of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji on the same day. In Sikhism, Diwali is commonly known as Bandi Chhor Divas, which means "Day of the Prisoner Liberation". It commemorates the release of the sixth Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, and 52 other princes from imprisonment in the Gwalior Fort in 1619. While the day is celebrated similarly to Diwali 🪔 with lights, fireworks, and feasts, its specific meaning for Sikhs is the liberation of the Guru and the 52 princes.  For Sikhs, this day celebrates the struggle for freedom, courage, and compassion. Sikhs celebrate by attending gurdwaras (Sikh places of worship), lighting oil lamps (diyas), setting off fireworks, and feasting with family and friends. The festival is a reminder of the triumph of good over evil, a theme that is central to both the Sikh and Hindu celebrations of Diwali.  🪔 #Sikhism 🪯 #Hinduism 🕉️
