That's true, Whites tend to age into establishment conservatism (and libwhites age into establishment neoliberalism). The way out of this bind is to change the establishment -- who they are, what it means, and the morals it espouses. I can easily see a future shaping up in which hardcore anti-racist Whites and hardcore racialist Whites take the dance floor in the current establishment two-step, and lead the country into a serious internecine crisis.
