Part of the human experience is the pleasure of not being seen, not being known, not being assessed....of getting away from prying eyes, even if for a moment. The Mass Surveillance State coming to life like some Flockenstein monster will rob us of that part of our humanity. The prying eyes will be everywhere. There won't be any escape. You will feel those cameras groping you, from nooks you can't see. The stress and despair this will add to every person's life will dwarf the sense of safety from the perception that crime is being curtailed.
