That is a real quote, volks. But be careful about these Founder pearls of wisdom. Like most of his Anglo contemporaries, Adams had a conflicting opinion of jews, expressing animosity for the jews he encountered in his travels, while holding to a deep respect for the ancient hebrews, whom he considered a "civilizing force" of mankind. For some reason, even our greatest and wisest leaders of Revolutionary America could not put two and two together into a coherent indictment of jews as a historically malign element in White host nations.
