Big #school / #education #unions are digging a deeper hole. What else is new? #America’s big schooling unions have long wielded outsize influence over #politicians at EVERY level of #government, and nowhere is that more apparent than in their **coordinated campaign against the Education Freedom Tax Credit #EFTC (#school CHOICE/VOUCHERS)** Rather than engage the #merits of a policy that would EXPAND opportunity for MILLIONs of #students, in #public and #private schools, the National Education Association #NEA and the American Federation of Teachers #AFT have **resorted to LIES and MISLEADING rhetoric,** trying to STRONG-ARM #lawmakers into doing their bidding by calling on #Democrat #governors to say NO to the EFTC. They’ve even mobilized a blocK of #congressional #Democrats in BOTH chambers to advance legislation REPEALING the tax credit before it can take root. These are ill-advised maneuvers, nothing more than political ploys, and they will FAIL.
