A "#nonprofit" called Kai Poma, representing the Sherwood Valley Band of Pomo Indians, Round Valley Indian Tribes, and Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians. The California Transportation Commission gave the final thumbs-up on June 26, and this marks the first time Caltrans has handed over land it managed to tribal groups.
