Starbucks was proud of these new goals to eliminate white workers Starbucks publicly announced these initiatives in October 2020, post-George Floyd, as part of advancing “racial and social equity” **By the way, this is 100% illegal** Under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, it’s unlawful to discriminate in employment including hiring, training, promotion, compensation based on race. This applies to all races “reverse discrimination” claims by non-BIPOC employees, meaning white employees, are valid.
