To the people of Texas,
I never imagined that our fight to MAKE VETERANS CEMETERIES GREAT AGAIN—removing a convicted rapist and suspected serial killer from resting among our fallen heroes—would bring so much hate from both sides. I now understand your fight is more important, and mine seems like a waste of time, better served elsewhere by Congress. While many of us believe we must preserve the integrity of veterans cemeteries, I see that our fight is not as crucial.
I will be ending the petition and withdrawing the bill, S.1071, co-sponsored by Senator Ted Cruz.
I never meant to offend anyone. #Truth #MAGA
