To understand what I whole heartedly believe is "THE SCRIPTURAL METHOD" for determining Rosh Chodesh (New Moon Day) from which all of the Moedim (Appointed Times) are counted, including the 7th Day Sabbath, please read this ground breaking article which focuses on the definition of the Hebrew word 'ôth used in Genesis 1:14 and translated as 'signs' (in the sense of appearing).

This little Hebrew word packs a BIG PUNCH when it comes to determining the correct phase AND method for sighting the New Moon. I truly believe this article is a paradigm shifting game changer!

Today, Saturday, March 29th, the '7th Day' of the pagan "host of heaven" worship week of the Roman Empire's calendar, a day which was dedicated to the worship of the planet Saturn...

...is actually 'The 7th Day Sabbath' of the 2nd Week of the 13th New Moon (intercalary) according to The Scriptural Method of reckoning time.

The 2nd Sabbath of the New Moon ALWAYS falls on the 15th Day of EVERY Month according to The Scriptural Method of reckoning time via THE TWO GREAT LIGHTS of Genesis 1.

Welcome to 'THE SCRIPTURAL NEW MOON AND 7TH DAY SABBATH REVEALED!!!'

My name is Ken Alder and I am the creator of this group. My purpose in creating this group is to take a step forward in my outreach to others of like mind regarding calendar issues which are a foundational element in our expression of love toward our Creator, Redeemer and soon coming King who said, “If you love Me keep My commandments.”

For the last 9 years I've endured the contentious debates, which I vehemently abhor. I've resisted the trendy conclusions of the masses within the so-called "Torah Observant" and “Lunar Sabbath” communities of faith and have maintained a ‘common sense’, steady hand on the rudder that steers this ship.

While I find it vitally important to maintain an element of humility in my faith, I am no longer searching for either the seemingly mysterious New Moon and 7th Day Sabbath, I unequivocally believe I've found them both IN THE PAGES OF SCRIPTURE! I'm done with the contentious debates!

Here is what I hold to be Scripturally self-evident in regard to THE MASTER'S CLOCK.

Days begin with sunrise and end with sunset and therefore the set-apart hours of the Sabbath are from sunrise to sunset.

Dates however, begin and end with sunrise as per the six day creation narrative found in Genesis 1.

The Sabbaths fall on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th Days of every month.

The months are beaconed via the 1st Full Moon to rise above the eastern horizon AFTER the setting of the Sun upon the western horizon.

The years begin with the 1st New Moon AFTER the Vernal Equinox.

My purpose for this group is to provide an oasis of peace, where the New Moons, 7th Day Sabbaths and Annual Moedim of Scripture can be taught without having to deal with everyone else's elevated opinions! I've paid my dues... I've endured enough!

This group will be used to greet the members with announcements of the New Moons, 7th Day Sabbaths and Annual Moedim... if you lose track you'll know where to come to get back on track!

I will post articles from my website... www.thecalendarandthecovenant.com/ as well as any other information that I find useful. If members feel they have something to contribute please feel free to add to the discussion, the more who contribute the better, but keep it within the framework discussed above!

I urge members to come with a hunger to learn one of the fundamental aspects of the faith... The Calendar of Yah! If the 7th Day Sabbath is a 'sign' between The Almighty and His people we need to ascend above the 'HUGE ASSUMPTION' that the First Visible Crescent is the New Moon and Saturday is the 7th Day Sabbath of Scripture. Once we understand the true New Moon and the true 7th Day Sabbath we can then choose wisely as to what our next step must be.

Please, no arguing, I abhor contentious debate and I will not allow anyone to plant their campaign signs in my yard!
