Four days ago, I posted an article about a Democrat winning a special election in a deep red district in Lancaster. I basically blamed the RINO Lawrence Tabas, GOP chairman for the loss. But as it turns out we managed somehow to get a new GOP chairman on Feb. 8th. The new chairman is State Senator Greg Rothman (R-Cumberland) who admits that running a traditional campaign just didn't work. So now we have a new guy to blame for the loss.

The sclerotic General Assembly probably won't do much with this, since nothing else has lit a fire under them on it, but we can pray.
House Bill 900 to abolish ALL property (real estate) taxes in Pennsylvania was introduced this week. This is a constitutional amendment, which requires passage in two successive legislative sessions, and does not require a governor's signature. After passage (twice) by the General Assembly, it would be placed on the ballot for voters to approve or reject.
Because of that timeline, I have designated July 1, 2030 as the date when ALL property taxes would become unconstitutional in the Commonwealth. That gives the General Assembly over five years to determine by statute how to fund the schools, counties, and municipalities that currently rely on collecting property taxes.

In the coming weeks, I will share my vision for how we can solve this math problem in ways that will benefit every Pennsylvanian in a positive way. (Hint: the math is easy; the 'how' is more complicated.)

Delco Council Virtue Signals On Spooky Ghostly Guns. Boo — A first reading of an ordinance to ban the unlicensed manufacture and modifications of firearms was made by Delaware County (Pa) Council, March 19.
Especially noted was the use of 3-D printers to make guns.
This is virtue signalling by stupid people looking for an excuse ignore problems.
How many of these printed guns have been used in crime in Delco?
In 1960, there were more than three times as many people incarcerated in mental facilities than penal institutions. Forty years later it was six times as many in prisons. Were are confident it is much higher now.
That is maybe the biggest reason for the explosion of irrational random shootings. That and cultural changes such as excusing killing for convenience and the inability to teach the reality of a God who commands us to love our neighbor.
