Find Your Joy: Purpose, Work, and God's Gifts Discover the joy in assigned tasks and God-given talents. Learn how embracing our work and lot leads to true satisfaction and enjoyment of life's blessings. It's a gift we're meant to cherish. In other words, you notice what's the first thing God gave Adam. He gave him work. He didn't give him a job. He gave him work. He gave him labor. We're designed to do something. We're designed to do tasks and assignments. We're designed because these things bring joy. An accomplished task brings joy. It's not to complete us, It's for our enjoyment. God wants us to enjoy life. This is our allotted part. Ecc 5 verse 19, every man or everyone to whom God has given riches and possessions and power to enjoy them and to accept his appointed lot and to rejoice in his toil. This is the gift of God to him. This is part of the gift of God for us, to enjoy this stuff and our appointed lot. In other words, what's our assignment? What's our destiny? What's our gifts and our gracing's. What's our strengths? We're not trying to be someone else. We've accepted our appointed lot. Who are we? That's what we're talking about: Identity. If we learn who we are, we'll be much more satisfied.
