We can start with the fact that it is a plant, that even the old, wild, and unmodified strains had psychoactive properties, as well as being a versatile plant for all kinds of uses as well. So we can assume that God a) made the stuff the way it was, and for mankinds use. B) made humans with what we call cannabinoid receptors in our body that react to this plant which give it some of it’s many properties, recreational and medical and health related both. So I am inclined to think that God knew what he was doing, and I can’t imagine he has a problem with it. Remember, getting high, or getting drunk is not a sin according to the Bible. Becoming a drunkard an alcoholic, or someone dependant on drugs of any kind was.
