Theme Week 4 = La Aroma de Cuba (Ashton & Garcia) So this week's 'theme' will be La Aroma de Cuba. All of these are ranked between 92 and a whopping 95 by Cigar Aficionado. History The La Aroma de Cuba cigar brand has a long history that can be traced back to the late 1800s in Cuba. La Aroma de Cuba was originally a Cuban frontmark cigar sold on the streets of Havana. Winston Churchill was a fan of the brand and developed a passion for cigars while in Cuba in 1895. The brand lost popularity over time but in the early 2000s, the Ashton family and Jose "Pepin" Garcia re-imagined the brand in Nicaragua. The brand is now blended by Jose "Pepin" Garcia and his son Jaime Garcia in Estelí, Nicaragua. Today, La Aroma de Cuba is a mega-brand that produces premium cigars made from a blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Ecuadorian tobaccos. The cigars are wrapped in Connecticut Broadleaf and have a rich, earthy maduro wrapper. Other Theme Weeks = https://gab.com/jdburney1/posts/112665852959054270
