🏠 Good intentions are not enough — reality matters. There have been cases where people opened their homes to refugees or migrants and later reported painful experiences: property damage, conflicts, broken trust, or feeling taken advantage of. There are also many cases where hosting worked well and led to friendships and successful integration. The bigger lesson is not that one group of people is “good” or “bad.” Every society has a minority of individuals who exploit kindness, ignore rules, or harm others — regardless of background. A serious system must be built on both compassion and boundaries: ❤️ Help people who genuinely need help. ⚖️ Protect citizens and hosts from those who abuse trust. 🧠 Judge individuals by their actions, not assumptions. Ignoring real problems doesn’t solve them. But blaming millions for the actions of some doesn’t either.
