One of the BIGGEST names in the Biohacking/health/fitness space REFUSED a 90-second collaboration with me because I have less than 100k followers. That's LURIDLY LAME, isn't it? "Try again when you have more followers" was the response I got (I have 15K legitimate human followers across all platforms and an authoritative website). It was a stinging rejection from someone whose content I’ve shared, whose books I’ve positively reviewed, and whose products I’ve bought for years. I WAS a superfan, but he #floccinaucinihilipilied ("to make worthless") me! This exposes a deeply hollow truth about the modern "#influencer economy": we are worshipping at the altar of (often FAKED) vanity metrics. In the health and personal growth subcultures, there is a rigid, invisible caste system based purely on follower counts. If your digital footprint is small, the self-appointed gatekeepers treat you like a ghost. The biggest influencer I know: Dr. Hany Demian He currently has around 20,000 followers and probably wouldn't love being called an "influencer." When I interviewed him on my podcast last year, he had just 400 Instagram followers, but even then, he was vastly and profoundly more influential than the social media stars with five and six-figure followings.
