President Trump Called Out 'Fake News' CNN During Wuhan Virus Presser At the White House. At a White house meeting with bank and Wall street executives, the president took several questions from the press. The interactions quickly ended after a CNN 'reporter' Jim Acosta asked a silly gotcha question. He asked the President, "Mr. President, what do you say to Americans who are concerned that you're not taking this seriously enough and that some of your statements don't match what your health experts are saying?" The President smiling, gestured at Acosta and said, "That's CNN. Fake news." He then signaled the end of the presser. "Go ahead, thank you very much" the President concluded.
