HILARIOUS: People On Social Media Mock Philadelphia's Latest Gun Control Idea 'Hilarity ensued' after a short video posted on Twitter by 6ABC reporter Katie Katro went viral. Katro wrote: "Philadelphia is seeing an increase in shootings...to combat the senseless gun violence, city council, Philadelphia Police and community groups organized a home gun check...urging residents to safely turn in firearms lying around their homes before they get into the wrong hands." In the video Katro reports that the city is seeing an increase in gun violence. In response the city leaders came up with the most ridiculous idea: turn in your guns! "Are people really this dumb?" Don Jr., President Trump's son asked, retweeting Katro's post. "Law-abiding citizens should turn in their guns and have no means to defend themselves while outlaw criminals who have been breaking the law will keep weapons and continue their criminal ways with a leg up. This is a special kind of stupid." Judy Smith tweeted: "That is the stupidest move I've ever heard of! Because the bag guys doing the shooting are not gonna turn their guns in. They are taking guns away from the innocent people who would have them to defend themselves. This is such BS!" Really...right? WATCH Katro's clip.
