Trump Adds 20 More Names To His List Of Supreme Court Nominees The president, Wednesday, revealed 20 more names in the list of nominees he will pick from, should a vacancy arise in the Supreme Court. Making the announcement in the Diplomatic Reception room of the White House, Trump read off a list of names that includes popular conservative firebrand from Texas, senator Ted Cruz. Other notable names include senators Josh Hawley of Missouri, and Kentucky attorney general Daniel Cameron. Other names in the list include Tom Cotton of Arkansas, Bridget Bade of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, Paul Clement, former U.S. solicitor general, 5th Circuit judge Stuart Kyle Duncan, assistant attorney general Stephen Engel, former solicitor general Noel Francesco, 5th Circuit judge James Ho, D.C. Circuit judge Gregory Katses, 11th Circuit judge Barbara Lagoa, U.S. ambassdor to Mexico Christopher Landau, Florida Supreme Court Carlos Muni, Northern District of Illinois judge Martha Packold, 3rd Circuit judge Peter Phipps, Eastern District of Missouri judge Sarah Pitlyk, 4th Circuit judge Allison Jones Rushing, deputy assistant to the president Kate Todd and 9th Circuit judge Lawrence Van Dyke. Trump said his Democrat opponent in the upcoming presidential election, Joe Biden had not released his own list of potential nominees because "they are so far left [they] could never withstand scrutiny." He said it is "very important" that Biden name who he might nominate to the highest court. "Unfortunately, there is a growing radical left movement that rejects the principle of equal treatment under the law," the president said. "If this extreme movement is granted a majority on the Supreme Court, it will fundamentally transform America without a single vote of Congress." Conservatives praised the president's list. "President Trump continues to keep his promise to prioritize the appointment of judges while Joe Biden continues to duck the issue and hide his list," Carrie Severino Judicial Network president tweeted.
