Tesla Lays Off LGBTQ, Diversity Leads In Latest Job Cuts, As Elon Musk Slams 'Woke Mind Virus' Earlier this month, Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly told executives in an email that they need to cut 10% of the electric car company's workforce and pause hiring. The reduction Musk said, would shed excess staff recruited during a long growth phase. Markets and the economy in general have nosedived in recent months due in part to President Joe Biden's failed green policy which has caused a spike in energy costs worldwide and the resulting inflation across all sectors. Apparently the Tesla chief and his team used the opportunity to shed the company of parasitic activist woke employees, the types who have become a torn in the side of many businesses across the west. The electric car company reportedly laid off Bobby Berretta-Paris, the president of its LGBTQ+ community; and another senior software engineer who leads the diversity and inclusivity programs. Musk has made clear in his tweets that he is not a fan of what he calls the "woke mind virus," which he recently blamed for streaming giant Netflix's "unwatchable" content. He once said in an interview with Babylon Bee that: "At its heart, wokeness is divisive, exclusionary, and hateful.
