#187 "Visitor Before Nightfall" by WUi I kept coughing. It was her fault this stupid house had black mold. But I was too weak to even get out of my bedroom to see the visitor at the door. He kept knocking which was annoying and literally the sensation reached into my bones, a tense pain. "You can hide, but you can't run" he taunted through the single pane windows that shielded me from the cooling rays outside. My words defined them as friends But my experience of them was enemies For they continued with me daily In acceptance of the prison I erected Called "Victimization" And because I left not the prison Though Heaven broke open the doors And the very prison guard fell at my feet In worshipful apology I stayed so that I might avoid The REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE The screaming loneliness of society Who lied, betrayed, assisted mine abusers And conformed me into the image of sin An empty shape, and a shapeless void I mustered up my voice to respond.
