𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀. The #FBI hired activist journalists to push false #Russiacollusion narratives. It then used those stories to perpetuate the hoax, obtain warrants, and keep the whole operation moving, never disclosing that the FBI itself had put the narratives into circulation in the first place. And the objective was to remove a duly elected president. So it is not good enough to quietly fire this or that agent, as seems to have happened in dribs and drabs. The next Democratic administration can simply rehire these people or others just like them, which means nothing is actually fixed. There needs to be full transparency about everything that was done by #Comey, #Mueller, #Wray, and the rest of them. That is the only way to ensure it never happens again.
