Iran spent decades building leverage on a chokepoint, spent this war monetizing it with tolls and protection payments, and the customers' answer is to engineer the chokepoint out of existence. Every mile of pipe laid is leverage Tehran never gets back, exactly the "great alternatives" Trump previewed. The strait won't stop mattering, but by 2028 it stops being a GUN to the world's head. Iran played the card so hard the region is completely rebuilding the deck. Source: New York Post / Writer: Daniel
