#TheBibleIsAccurateHistory #TheWordOfGodIsTrue SENNACHERIB BULL INSCRIPTION: TRIBUTE OF KING HEZEKIAH - Discovered in the 19th Century, this inscription was originally part of a Lamassu (a mythical bull creature) statue erected by the neo-Assyrian king, Sennacherib in Nineveh. When it was deciphered it was sensational for the time and was news around the world. It contained one of the earliest extra-biblical accounts of an Old Testament biblical king (Hezekiah), and recorded an event also mentioned in 2 Kings 18:13-16, when Hezekiah paid Sennacherib a tribute of gold and silver, as well as treasures from the Temple.
