...You guys realize Trump probably isn't going to actually abolish the IRS, right?
It's like anything else. He leads with his most dramatic and "crazy-sounding" premise, and then anemically under-delivers every single time once he's been "negotiated" down to nothing. I mean, we had him as president for 4 years (going on 5), and we got... what, for it? Bro didn't even finish "the wall" - even when he deployed the Army Corp of Engineers to the scene. He's saying the tariff/IRS thing to get YOU excited and invested in his success. He'll never deliver - especially when he can't even manage to deliver Epstein docs in a timely manner, and his first 100 days in office have been a relative wash.
The sad truth is you and I will likely never not be tax slaves.
Got that? Did the cold, hard, sickening reality just sink in? Did the Hopium spell break? If so, maybe now you can start to address reality where we're collectively at, at the moment, and come up with tangible solutions, instead of getting bulldozed by organized Dem opposition.
Because the reality of the situation is something anathema to even so-called "Conservatives" - that once you give (most) women access to their own money - with no obligations to a larger family unit - the species starts to die off.
We see this in society after society - regardless of if the government is Capitalist, Communist, or something else entirely. Women delay relationship formation to work for faceless globohomo corps, and birth rates slide below replacement to the point where... the only "solution" becomes mass replacement immigration from the third world (where coincidentally, birth rates remain high... right until the women land in their new countries, at which point, within basically 10 years, their "vital" birthrates are flatlining, too).
Women spend their 20's and 30's chasing the bag, riding the cock carousel, being "girl bosses," and then suddenly decide they want kids the moment they turn 38 and their last withered egg dislodges itself from their ovaries, and they bestow themselves to the "lucky guy" she sees provider potential in.
Except so few guys even fit that criteria now, not after a lifetime of random hook-ups, that she ends up a screeching liberal harridan.
So now, instead of addressing the issue that is particular to womankind, Trump's solution (which is "just throw money at the problem") will actually serve to make it that much worse. Because it hasn't done anything to address the underlying issues, or the faulty ideology: that we're all just interchangeable worker cogs made to serve the GDP, and that we all should just have the liberty to make whatever consumer-level choices we want at all times.
Because once you get into notions of things like "a people," you expose the consevaboomer "we're all one race" nonsense - and that's bad business for politicians who rely on every vote being equal. That's bad for the Nancy Maces of the world, who want to celebrate "pride" for political points, but then don't like the reality of "pride" showing up to her political rallies to throw potted plants at her face.
If you start handing out 5k per baby to every unmarried woman, you're going to actually make the tax burden that much worse, because now all you've done is incentivize births; a single behavior - not family formation. Not robust, healthy societies. Not strong relationships.
Which is why cutting tax rates - 25% per kid - makes so. much. more. sense. You're creating value, not squandering it. You're reinforcing the family unit, not subverting it.
I have more thoughts, but they're disorganized and frankly I'm bored of assembling them at the moment. Maybe I'll return to this later.
25% tax break per kid, so long as the parents are in a stable relationship.
4 kids in a stable marriage = no income tax.
Edit: Need to add straight to the mix. The abuse of homosexual couples towards babies should not be incentivized (and frankly, homosexual adoption needs to be made illegal).
