Just as they are about to escape into the sweet respite of sleep their phone's beep, startling them awake. It's the President, tweeting out photo's of his massive rally crowd They grimace. Tears well in their eyes. They set their phone back down and curl up into a ball, pressing their pillow against the side of their head to block out the noise of the city. 30 minutes pass and they start to drift away.
