Election audits will improve confidence. Early voting cuts will save money. Campaign-finance changes are just administrative. A questionable earmark will be fixed. Data centers will not raise your power bill. Recovery money will rebuild western communities. Raleigh’s water situation is improving. Maybe. But a constitutional republic should not run on maybe. Put it in writing. If election audits are limited, write the limit. If early voting cuts are based on cost, show the cost. If campaign-finance thresholds are raised, explain why voters should see less information. If a budget earmark serves the public, prove the public purpose. If Duke says data centers will pay their own way, make it enforceable before the Utilities Commission. If recovery money is awarded, track the project until the work is done. If water restrictions are lifted, keep planning for the next shortage. North Carolina is growing fast. Growth can bring opportunity, but it can also bring higher bills, strained infrastructure, insider deals, weaker transparency, and local voices being ignored. Growth is not progress when citizens carry the risk while powerful interests collect the reward. Good government does not fear receipts. Good policy does not hide behind promises. North Carolina deserves rules with teeth. That is how we Go Right NC.
