#Aloha #Hawaii Watch the Chief Election Officer of the State of Hawaii lie through his teeth!  Federal HAVA requires a valid and current State Plan to implement it. Hawaii last updated their plan in 2004. See 97 second video. Below are many of the HAVA mandates, and right after it are Hawaii's own words of assessment: Accessibility for disabled via DRE at each polling place - Does Not Meet Establish state based complaint procedures - Does Not Meet Procedures as condition of receiving funds - Does Not Meet Procedures uniform & nondiscriminatory - Does Not Meet Allow complaints for Title III violations - Does Not Meet Complaints in writing, notarized, signed, sworn - Does not Meet Allow consolidation of complaints - Does Not Meet Hearing on record if requested - Does Not Meet Remedy if violation found - Does Not Meet Dismiss and publish if no violation - Does Not Meet Final determination within 90 days - Does Not Meet Alternative resolution if deadline missed - Does Not Meet But, Hawaii has been taking the HAVA money!  Over $30 million of it from the federal govt. And their own Chief Election Officer lies to the Election Commission, to the public on camera that they have a compliant State Plan for HAVA - when the truth is they don't. ~ Peter Bernegger
