As more people pay attention to where their food comes from, conversations about growing their own fruits and vegetables are everywhere. And one thing I keep seeing come up in gardening, homesteading, and preparedness groups is the search for old-fashioned SEEDED watermelons. Maybe it's nostalgia. Maybe it's self-reliance. Maybe people simply want to be more connected to their food. Either way, more folks are realizing that some of the easiest foods to grow are right in front of us. Watermelons. π Pumpkins. π Squash. π₯ Give them some space, a little water, and a sunny patch of ground, and they can absolutely take off. The best part? When you grow your own, you're in control. You know where your food came from. You know what went into it. And you can even save seeds for future growing seasons. So if you're shopping this summer and happen to find a good old-fashioned seeded watermelon, grab one. Enjoy it. Save some seeds. Plant a few. You might be surprised how easy it is to grow your own food. Tip: Look for seeds that are non-GMO and are meant for seed saving, like this option (meaning they have seeds). They can be hard to find. ππ± ----> https://tidd.ly/4fvOud8 #ad
