Some Panzers Didn't Surrender on VE Day! Last Operational Units May-June 1945 Not all German Panzer units surrendered on 8 May 1945 - many drifted in over the next couple of days. But three units did not surrender until WEEKS after VE-Day, remaining in charge of operational tanks, one even taking part in active fighting! Who were these units and where were they in Europe?
