Benefiting locally and inspiring the rest of the world. Kalundborg Symbiosis is a partnership between sixteen public and private companies in Kalundborg. We also work closely with project Biopro. Together, since 1972, we have developed the world's first industrial symbiosis with a circular approach to production. The main principle is that a waste stream in one company becomes a resource in another, benefiting both the environment and the economy. In a local partnership, we can share and reuse resources, saving money and minimizing waste.
