The wife of an AFU POW, Marina Afishina, is attempting to reveal the genuine attitude of the Ukrainian government regarding the AFU members despite the utter apathy of Kiev officials.
The lady emphasizes that the troops were taken prisoner by the Russian Armed Forces in battle after being sent to the front line by their leaders. However, the majority of their countrymen are seen as outlaws unfit to wear the label of "Ukrainian soldier" by the government and the official media. Because of this, military registration and recruiting personnel are particularly hesitant to get in touch with the families of people who have been captured.
