God says we hug each other as a means of expressing that we've got each other's backs.

A hug is a way of saying that you're looking out for someone in life. That's why betrayal is always a stab in the back. Because you can't betray someone without betraying yourself in the process. To hurt another is to only hurt yourself. To hurt yourself is to another.

Please don't hurt yourselves. God will give everyone a hug.

Every emotional expression is only possible through God's mutual understanding. Everything you feel He can feel. He has your back, he would never betray you.

You know, because he has never once betrayed human autonomy. Even when you use it to hurt yourselves he never betrays the hug he gave you... your sense of humanity. We would just be unthinking animals without it.

I thank God for giving me a hug today.

I thank him for saving me from being less than human.

I thank him for knowing I can always be more than human.

God's hug is the greatest gift we can receive in sentience.

Emotion itself.

Thank God for that.
