Is Dumbledore evil for having created an obscurial with purposed abuse? A "chosen one" or "chosen weapon" to fight against evil? Well, you have to understand that in the wizarding world... that was the world. Worse than slavery. Magic only initially resulted from the most inhuman of abuses as people tried to torture humans into living weapons. Like Athenians and Ares types... ACT LIKE AN ADULT! HURT LIKE AN ADULT! As the upbringing is unnatural it produces failure... most of it murders itself. You see that a LOT in Asian countries who take Athenian upbringing too far, push kids too hard. So why do it? Well for every THOUSAND you drive to suicide... you'll get ONE that's an effective demigod! Most of them are "titans"... uncontrollable anomalies. They're just out of control weapons. Like psychopaths. But for every THOUSAND "titans" you make... you can make an ACTUAL human demigod! A truly living weapon! Or living artistry. Or whatever aspect you prioritize over natural being. To become MORE than you are! So in the magical world they took that shit to the most illogical extremes... to the point where they created the equivalent of artificial extinct events in biology to FORCE evolution to evolve past unprecedented pain. Normally human awareness or autonomy gives us the ability to control entropy, to STOP and START at will... our cognition can override a law of physics! It's so good at this it can even break ADDICTION! Something that should be IMPOSSIBLE to stop... you can stop it with absolute awareness. But there's ANOTHER level of awareness beyond that, which can give you even greater control over creation, greater than the ability to control entropy, you can control all the superfluid around your brain... but you have to be able to control an exponential infinity of objects. It's easy when you realize they're all essentially the same object because it's just the same atom colliding into itself created the same echo of itself... so even though the effective number is incalculable to the point of rendering mathematics moot, it's all the same object, the same number multiplied by itself for infinity can be divided by itself for infinity to map its effective superfluidic movement. Meaning, just as you can move your hand in water to make waves in the water, your brain can make waves into superfluid that can control superfluid. Even to the point of super heating the superfluid and creating super explosions! This is the basis of magic, it's where it came from and it's been hidden, right here with us Muggles... except they have to keep it hidden, because if you knew the nature of THEIR sense of reality... it would make the Democrats look like Leave It To Beaver by comparison! That's how dark the wizarding world really is, but... there are some in that world looking to try and bring it towards the light, to overcome the abuses that created their magics. Those like Dumbledore. They may not be ideal heroes, but they represent righteousness in a world otherwise brought to worse than ruination in the wake of evolutionary abuse. And then the entire story isn't just fun magic and adventure but it's reflective of the abuses of science in the modern age which, by all accounts of science fiction, is indistinguishable from magic. Seek miracles instead! Science so advanced it's indistinguishable from the grace of God and as a result the discovery must be granted to his grace. It's sort of like... pushing your artistry to such an extreme limit that it can no longer even be recognized as human and as a result in the minds of mankind must be attributed to a miracle from God. Godly grace. If your science isn't that good... rethink your bushwa. Faith is the fuel. Even if you "know God"... you still need to put your faith in what God puts his faith into... creation that can attain salvation. Amen.
