No Catholic can be a communist, all communists are automatically excommunicated from the Catholic Church. Communism is just socialism on steroids. It’s part of Marxist ideology. All Marxist ideologies are condemned by the Catholic Church. If you’re a communist, socialist or Marxist, stop living a lie. You can’t be Catholic and any of those things. You must choose one or the other. So pick a side. Repent of your Marxist ideology and be a Catholic, or else stop living a lie by calling yourself Catholic, because you’re not! Your Marxist ideology is NOT welcome in the Catholic Church.
