When you live on a island you have to expect to be hit with a hurricane or a typhoon occasionally. In the day of weather forecasting weeks in advance and airplanes seems they would evacuate. I don't feel sorry for these people. I certainly don't want to pay to rebuild these places. I have my own home to maintain and make into my dream home. The wise man built his house apon a rock. Not on a Island or the coast of a ocean.
