Ignition coil lost it's nut causing check engine light to flash. Since the ignition coil was now loose, there was inconsistent or no spark for that cylinder causing the engine to run rough. I couldn't find a replacement nut in a timely manner so I made an 'oak nut' and soaked it with liquid super glue. So what do you all think, should I still find a replacement nut or should I trust that my handyman skills will keep the vehicle running for thousands of miles? There is already over 256,000 miles on it. π
