Not bad for day one doing CW/QRP Just need GB13COL, K2C, K2K, WM3PEN for my clean sweep. I didn't expect to get TM13COL on the first day. I've heard K2C and WM3PEN but either they haven't heard me, or I've been overpowered by lids (very very poor operating practices for folks trying to get those two stations) Technically I did get WM3PEN on FT8 but as we all know, that's not real ham radio unless its the one thing stopping you from a clean sweep. Another pro-tip. If you are doing CW and the station you are trying to work has a pileup, make use of the XIT (transmit offset) feature on your radio. Even while running 5W, when using a +/- 50-120kHz offset you can (usually) within a few minutes break through a pileup of stronger stations. When several stations all zero beat on a station's frequency, they sound like a continuous tone - no modulation at all. By using the XIT feature, you give the operator a modulated tone to hear.
