There is a risk of severe weather today. Most of the storms will be wind and hail producers in our region due to weaker wind shear. There is still a low tornado risk in far E and SE OK this afternoon/evening. The risk covers all of Arkansas and down into NE TX. Dallas is on the western edge. The higher likelihood of tornadoes will be in Missouri and points east. BTW DFW and areas just south may see a couple of tornadic storms in their region Thursday afternoon near a frontal boundary.
