The American Psychiatric Association has designated gender dysphoria as a mental condition. As well, they determined gender modification procedures, chemical or physical, constitutes child abuse. Apparently Gov. #GregAbbott is the typical politician litigator who is reticent to make a decision. Governor Abbott, please stop seeking out an excuse for allowing Texas children to be abused by chemical and physical castration. Either you support ending child gender modification in Texas, or you don’t. The determination of the Texas Department of Family and Child Services is not a basis for your recalcitrance, actually, your cowardice in confronting this moral issue.
