"Big Trouble in Gender Medicine. #Colorado courts have ordered #ColoradoChildrensHospital to resume sex rejecting procedures on minors. The problem is that NONE of the doctors on staff at the hospital are willing to do so, citing "the hostile environment" around the procedures. The hospital is now in contempt of court and, presumably, has called the doctors as witnesses for its defense that it can't find doctors to do the procedures. The doctors aren't even willing to testify publicly, so the court is letting them do so anonymously. Some take aways: - Courts can't force people to perform work they don't want to do. The court could, in theory, force a hospital to provide a service, but if no doctor is willing to perform the service, either the court or the hospital is stuck. What this will boil down to in is that the court could force the hospital to hire new staff - presumably at premium salary and perhaps lower credentials. The hospital clearly doesn't want to get back in this business or it already would have done so. - This ruling is the result of the insanity prevailing in blue states that deem these unproven, dangerous medical experiments to be a "constitutional right". In Colorado, the state even pays for it, for minors and adults. - What are these doctors afraid of? Colorado protects them as much as legally possible. It has shield laws and state funding. Colorado leads the way in legally protecting gender medicine. What they are primarily afraid of is the federal investigations that are already underway regarding their billing practices. If they go back to their practice and keep fraudulently billing, they increase their liability. If they start billing accurately, then they implicitly admit that they were committing fraud previously. As #HiKidHey has reported, we know there is massive billing fraud at this hospital because a few doctors have admitting to performing at least 20x the procedures that the entire hospital legitimately billed for. If a little sunshine has the ability to shut down these procedures in a state like #Colorado (and a few weeks ago in #Connecticut), that is very encouraging because the #DOJ and #CMS are just getting started. The #WolvesinWhiteCoatsreport is only two weeks old. There will almost certainly be more settlements and investigations announced soon.
