"#SteamDB is fucked. #NexusMods just took over and everyone is already super concerned. Nexus mods is known for being highly censorious and politically active on the Left. They apply double standards that bans conservative mods, but promotes leftist mods. - They've banned mods that remove body type A and B for Male and Female (until gamers pushed back in droves on #OblivionRemastered). - They ban mods that are political, but are selective. LGBTQ activism mods are allowed, conservative ones are not. - They banned the mod that removed pronouns from #Starfield. - They banned a BG3 mod that turned a same sex relationship into a Male/Female romance saying it was anti inclusive. - They ban mods that remove pride flags and pronouns and same sex relationships, but ALLOW mods that add them. (Spider Man Remastered flag incident) - They ban any costume they deems "sexy" like numerous Stellar Blade ones. Male ones seem to get a pass. Just like #wikipedia, they will absolutely taint the data and likely allow publishers to opt-out of tracking to prevent "review bombing" etc. Why? Not just because they are political, but they are ad supported. And where you are ad supported, publisher money talks.
