Had a Veteran tell me he was irritated with the people who believe the Military left not only people behind but equipment behind in Afghanistan. His comment was “…unless you’ve served you have no idea what’s going on…” While I agree with part of his statement, I am dumbfounded with his defense of poor and cowardly decisions by the upper echelon responsible for ultimately leaving people and equipment behind. The conversation left me speechless as I didn’t and still do not understand that thought process much less defending the decision to leave so many behind, helpless and MORE at risk by that decision. Anyone able to expound? #military #veterans #afghanistan #WTH
