Pearl was one of 5 and weighed just over a pound when we got her. The picture with the pink bow was just 2 days after we found the pups. She was actually healthier there as the 3 rounds of deworming put her into a failure to thrive. She actually lost a pound. (Be sure and look at the last video where she was failing to thrive) She was a fighter, but was dying because she could not gain weight. The rescue organization hooked us up for her and Ricky to go to for special care. She started both on goats milk with saturated Taste Of The Wild High Praire pasture raised Bison and Venison with 80 CFU/Ib of probiotics grain free, for puppies. The results as you can see were miraculous. It took the foster Colleen 3months to get Pearl to this stage. She is seen here in her new home as of this morning in Albany New York. A farm with stay at home parents. She has new doggie siblings that love her too. [To put into perspective again, Houston has 1 million stray dogs. Freedomstreet.org is a rescue that uses qualified fosters and sends almost every dog OUT of Texas because it has such a bad reputation for stray dogs.
