His heart kept tripping him up with that relationship but David never stop nor gave up his relationship with God. It's not religion, it's relationship. David poured out his heart to the Lord & he didn't even have the Old & New Testament! Let that sink in a second or two. How blessed we are to have God's Word! How often do you study? How often would you read a love letter from the love of your life? How much more should we read God's love letter to us? HE wants the best for us & has great plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11) so pour out your heart to Him, confess where you know you're falling short & ask His help. He already knows, but HE wants you to know. Be a person after God's own heart.
