And I am a guy who the Crown Prosecutor in Toronto wants to send away to prison for a year for so-called "hate speech." And keep in mind my so-called "hate speech" was not very hateful. In fact my speech would have been mainstream thinking in Canada half a century ago. My alleged "hate speech" was a flyer criticizing the Toronto Homosexual unGodly pride parade and indeed I criticized "hate speech" going on in the parade (homosexuals marching with pictures of our Lord Jesus on their crotch) and gross immorality and weird fetishes being celebrated by the parade. Furthermore, the unGodly pride parade is taxpayer funded, so you would think it should be legal to criticize it. Having said the above, my lived experience and philosophical world view is such I do not support so-called "hate speech" laws in any form. We did fine as a nation and did a better job of protecting vulnerable people from actual harm without hate speech laws. Hate speech laws are inherently subjective, prone to abuse, and their origins are rooted in communism. Now having said the above, if I need to go to prison in Sepember for "hate speech" for criticizing a taxpayer funded unGodly pride parade, letting homosexuals know there is a God who loves them, and that they can change their harmful sexual behaviour for the better, shouldn't Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry be looking at criminal "hate speech" charges for making a video celebrating the arson of Christian churches?
